Beed, Sep 26 (PTI) A teacher was electrocuted while lowering a pipe into a water tank at a school in Kaij area of Beed district, a police official said on Saturday.
The incident took place in the Zilla Parishad Urdu Girls’ Primary School in Raza Mohalla at around 11:30pm on Friday, he added.
“Mubbashir Aminoddin Inamdar (51) died of electric shock when he was lowering the pipe of a tanker into the school’s tank to fill it up with water. The pipe came in contact with a live wire. He collapsed and was declared dead on arrival at the Kaij sub-district hospital,” the official said. PTI COR BNM
