Chennai, Apr 26 (PTI) Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Sunday recalled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat by 2047’ and emphasised that its realisation requires the collective efforts of all citizens.
Emphasising social responsibility, the governor, in a press release, underscored the importance of establishing and strengthening educational and healthcare institutions.
‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ is the Centre’s long-term plan to transform India into a developed nation by 2047, marking 100 years of independence.
The initiative focuses on inclusive growth, economic expansion, sustainability, innovation, and citizen participation.
Participating as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the platinum jubilee celebrations of the Shree Agarwal Sabha, organised in Chennai, he appreciated the organisation’s sustained and meaningful contributions over the past 75 years.
