Chandrapur, Jul 21 (PTI) Six women’s facilitation centres have started in Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) in Maharashtra’s Chandrapur, an official said on Monday.
The centres will provide a safe, clean and comfortable environment for women staff of TATR, a release said.
“These are equipped with changing rooms, dedicated breastfeeding areas, children’s play zones, rest areas, toilets, sanitary pad vending machines, and other essential amenities. It represents a meaningful step by TATR toward inclusivity and women’s empowerment, reflecting the administration’s ongoing commitment to supporting its female workforce,” it said.
These are located in Tadoba (Core) Divisional Office and in forest ranges in Moharli, Kolara, Kolsa, Tadoba, and Karwa, said TATR field director Prabhu Nath Shukla.
The centres were inaugurated virtually by state forest minister Ganesh Naik recently. PTI CLS BNM
