New Delhi, Apr 15 (PTI) Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Wednesday held a review meeting at the Delhi Secretariat with senior officials of the environment department and the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) to assess the Air Pollution Mitigation Action Plan 2026.
Sirsa added that he reviewed the progress report on measures aimed at curbing pollution.
In a post on X, the minister wrote, “In the meeting, I reviewed the progress report on the work being done to increase the number of MRS (mechanised road sweeping) machines and water sprinklers for preventing pollution, and to identify pinpointed sources of pollution.” Sirsa added that the Rekha Gupta government is taking concrete decisions at multiple levels to improve air quality in the national capital.
