Bhubaneswar, Nov 9 (PTI) The Odisha government on Saturday effected a minor reshuffle in the bureaucracy by appointing new secretaries to two departments and giving additional responsibilities to some senior officers, an official notification said.

Sanjay Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary in the Rural Development department with additional charge of Information and Public Relations department, will also manage the responsibilities of the Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare (FSCW) Department, a notification issued by the general administration department said.

Vishal Dev, who is Principal Secretary to the IT Department with additional charge as Chairman of Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC), has been assigned an additional role as Principal Secretary of the Energy Department.

Senior IAS officer DK Singh, Additional Chief Secretary in the Revenue and Disaster Management department with additional charge of Special Relief Commissioner (SRC), and Managing Director, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority will be in additional charge of Chairman, Odisha Forest Development Corporation (OFDC).

Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, Principal secretary to Sports and Youth Affairs department was given additional charge of CMD, OPTCL. Girish SN was appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water department.

Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar, special secretary to PR and DW department was appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Handloom, Textiles and Handicrafts Department. PTI AAM AAM RG
