Jaipur, Feb 18 (PTI) The Rose Society of Rajasthan is set to organise a rose exhibition on February 26 in the newly constructed City Park here, exhibiting 500 different varieties of the plant, an official statement said on Saturday.
The Rose society held a meeting with Housing Board Commissioner Pawan Arora on Friday and shared the action plan of the programme who said that 48th Rose Show by the Society will be held at the City Park, it said.
Every year the Society does ‘Rose Show’ in the city’s Central Park and Youth Hostel, but this time it will be done in City Park, a patron of the Rose Society, Ishwar Chandra Srivastava said.
Common people can also participate in the show where good varieties of roses will also be awarded, Srivastava said.
Apart from this, there will be many other creative and cultural programmes at the exhibition including painting competition and Rajasthani folk dance, the statement said. PTI AG FZH
