Pune, Jun 6 (PTI) Dr Ravindra Kulkarni and Dr Suresh Gosavi have been appointed as Vice Chancellors of Mumbai University (MU) and Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), respectively, Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais’s office said on Tuesday.
Governor is the chancellor of public universities in the state.
Further, Dr Sanjay Bhave was appointed as new VC of Dr Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli, a tweet from the Governor’s office said.
Dr Kulkarni is a senior professor at the Institute of Chemical Technology, while Dr Gosavi holds the position of senior professor in the Department of Physics at SPPU.
