Rajasthan Cong to hold protest against ‘irregularities’ in NEET exam on May 21

Jaipur, May 18 (PTI) The Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee on Monday said it will hold a protest against alleged irregularities in NEET-2026 exam on May 21 and demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The protest will be held under the leadership of state Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra, with party workers set to gherao the BJP state headquarters in Jaipur.

Congress state general secretary Swarnim Chaturvedi said the alleged paper leak has jeopardised the future of lakhs of students and exposed serious lapses by the central government and the NTA.

They also claimed involvement of BJP leaders in the case and alleged that similar leaks occurred in previous years.

Besides resignation of Pradhan, they demanded the dissolution of the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Congress workers will gather at the party headquarters in the morning and march towards the BJP office via Shaheed Smarak, where they will stage a demonstration, Chaturvedi said, adding the party would intensify its agitation if its demands are not met. PTI AG DV DV
