Jaipur, May 8 (PTI) Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra on Friday levelled serious allegations of financial irregularities and corruption in the functioning of Hindustan Scout and Guide.

Claiming that the organisation was linked to state Education Minister Madan Dilawar, he demanded an impartial probe into the matter.

The Congress leader had also made the allegations in a social media post a couple of days ago, which were rejected by Dilawar.

“Dotasra is levelling false allegations. He has lost mental balance,” the minister said.

Dotasra alleged at a press conference that large-scale irregularities had taken place in the organisation through training camps, appointments and collection of fees from students and employees.

He claimed that the organisation, registered under the Rajasthan Cooperative Society Act and functioning on the lines of Bharat Scout and Guide, conducted several camps across districts and collected registration and camp fees from participants.

“In one camp organised at a government school in Chaksu in March 2025, a five-day residential camp was shown on paper while the event was allegedly held for only one day,” he claimed.

Dotasra alleged that signatures and seals of a retired district education officer were forged on official documents related to camp expenditure and approvals.

He also claimed that several officials of the organisation collected money in their personal bank accounts instead of the institution’s account.

According to Dotasra, more than Rs 23 lakh was allegedly transferred by different employees and organisers into the personal accounts of office-bearers of the organisation.

Dotasra also questioned the state government over grants released to the organisation despite alleged discrepancies regarding its service rules and financial management. PTI SDA KSS KSS
