Rahul to visit MP on Oct 1 to meet families of kids who died from ‘infectious diseases’ in Balaghat

Bhopal, Sep 30 (PTI) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit Madhya Pradesh’s tribal-dominated Balaghat district on October 1 and meet the families of more than 30 children who have died due to suspected infectious diseases in the last few months, a party leader said on Wednesday.

Gandhi will travel to Jalga village under Baihar tehsil of the district and interact with the parents of about 30 children who have died, he said.

State Congress president Jitu Patwari will welcome the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha at Birsi airstrip in Gondia district of adjoining Maharashtra from where he will travel to Jalga village by road, the leaded added. PTI MAS RSY
