PTC India and NPTI to set up R&D centre for energy sector

Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Research and Development in the Energy Domain will be a collaboration for research, development, and knowledge sharing.

PTC India Ltd and the National Power Training Institute (NPTI) have agreed to set up a research and development centre for the energy sector to promote sustainable development goals.

As per a memorandum of understanding, the two will set up a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Research and Development in the Energy Domain to disseminate its research and development findings to the power sector through training and capacity building.

The CoE will collaborate for research, development, and knowledge sharing.

The agreement was signed by the Director General of NPTI, Dr Tripta Thakur, and the Senior Vice President (HR) of PTC India, Koel Singhal, in the presence of the Secretary of the Ministry of Power, Pankaj Agarwal.
