Nanded, Sep 10 (PTI) Police have busted an alleged prostitution racket operating from a house in Nanded and rescued two women, officials said on Thursday.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the premises on Wednesday after sending a decoy customer.
During the action, police found that two women were allegedly being forced into prostitution with the promise of money. Four persons were booked in connection with the racket, said the officials.
Police seized mobile phones, cash and other material allegedly used in the illegal activity.
A case has been registered at Nanded Rural police station under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, the officials added. PTI COR NR
