Dibrugarh (Assam), Sep 11 (PTI) Several students of a private school in Assam’s Dibrugarh district were reportedly injured in an incident involving self-harm, prompting the district administration to order an inquiry on Friday, officials said.
The incident took place at Don Bosco HS School here on Thursday, with 12 class 7 students reportedly sustaining injuries, they said.
Reports claimed that one of the students instigated others to injure themselves with a sharp object during school hours, though none was seriously injured in the incident.
After the incident came to light, the district administration directed inspector of schools Kabita Deka to conduct a probe.
