Nagpur, Apr 26 (PTI) RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday said power is beneficial only when accompanied by virtue.

Addressing a gathering at a Nag Bhushan award distribution function in Nagpur, Bhagwat said a genius is 10 per cent inspiration and 90 per cent perspiration, while praising the awardees.

The 2025 Nag Bhushan Award was presented to Solar Group chairman Satyanarayan Nuwal, a Padma Shri awardee, for his outstanding performance in the defence sector and dedicated selfless social service.

The 2025 ‘Yuva Nag Bhushan Award’ was conferred on Daksh Khante in the Young Iron Man category.

“Power is beneficial only when accompanied by virtue. We need power adorned with virtue,” the RSS chief said.

He added that two things are important for any “shakti” (power) to be fruitful, and powerful people shouldn’t focus on success.

Bhagwat further said that success is a good thing, and hunger for continuous hard work and excellence in everything brings a human closer to success.

He said success makes a person proud, but it also creates hope and inspiration for the new generation that everybody can achieve success.

The RSS chief urged people to respect “10 per cent inspiration and 90 per cent perspiration of achievers and inculcate that hope in us as well”. PTI CLS NSK
