PM Modi vows to boost India’s tourism infrastructure

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasised the government’s commitment to enhancing India’s tourism infrastructure in a comment on social media platform X Friday. Responding to a post by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekawat, the Prime Minister wrote, “Tourism has the potential to bring prosperity to the lives of many. Our Government will keep focussing on enhancing India’s tourism infrastructure to ensure more people can experience the wonders of #IncredibleIndia.”

The Prime Minister’s statement highlights the significant role tourism plays in economic development and its potential to positively impact the lives of many, a PIB release stated. By focusing on improving tourism infrastructure, the government aims to attract more visitors to experience the rich cultural and natural heritage of Incredible India, it added.
