PM Modi Pays tribute to Subhas Chandra Bose, Balasaheb Thackeray

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on Parakram Diwas Thursday. He emphasized Netaji’s unparalleled contribution to India’s freedom movement and highlighted his embodiment of courage and grit, a PIB release stated.

In a series of posts on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Prime Minister stated, “Today, on Parakram Diwas, I pay homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. His contribution to India’s freedom movement is unparalleled. He epitomised courage and grit. His vision continues to motivate us as we work towards building the India he envisioned.”

Further, he announced, “At around 11:25 AM today, I will share my message at the Parakram Diwas programme. May this day inspire our coming generations to embrace courage in the face of challenges, like Subhas Babu did.”

He also paid tribute to Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackaray on his birth anniversary. The prime minister credited the late politician for his “commitment to public welfare” and towards “development” in Maharashtra.
