Chennai, Sep 3 (PTI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay’s achievements are keenly watched not only in neighbouring states but across the northern states and people there are yearning for a CM like him, state Minister for Milk and Dairy Development, C Vijayalakshmi has said.
She praised Vijay, saying he created a keen interest in politics for the youth of Tamil Nadu and he brought an awareness about politics among them.
Speaking in the Assembly, she said crores of people watch the television broadcast of Vijay’s address in the Assembly and this is proof of an awareness about politics among the youth.
She said: “In my life, I have only seen people enjoying films dubbed from other languages. But, even your (CM Vijay) Assembly addresses and public speeches are dubbed in other languages and seen and enjoyed by people speaking other languages, living in other states” Further, she said: “Your achievements are keenly watched not only in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Keralam, but all the northern states. They are longing, wondering if they will not get a chief minister like Thalapathy Vijay,” she said.
