Gurugram, Nov 2 (PTI) A portion of the Sohna-Gurugram elevated road has caved in again on Monday morning, just four years after it was built, despite several repairs.
Two of its lanes remained closed for several months due to repairs, which were completed less than a month ago.
A master sewer line belonging to the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) runs beneath this road, which was built by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
After receiving information about the road cave-in, the NHAI team installed a warning sign to stop vehicles.
In anticipation of potential congestion, the traffic police have been put on alert, and personnel have been deployed to manage the situation.
Officials from the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority and the highway authority have been notified to resume repair work. PTI COR SKY
