New Delhi, Apr 29 (PTI) A Delhi court on Wednesday took cognisance of a supplementary chargesheet filed by the CBI against former NSE chief Chitra Ramkrishna and others in connection with its probe into a co-location scam case.
Special Judge M P Singh said, “The only additional offence which has been invoked in this supplementary chargesheet is section 418 (cheating with knowledge that wrongful loss may ensue to a person whose interest the offender is bound to protect) of the IPC.” “This court hereby takes cognisance of the offence punishable under section 120B (criminal conspiracy) of IPC read with Section 418 of IPC as also section 418 of IPC,” the judge added.
The court has summoned the accused persons on May 20.
The agency had filed its main chargesheet against Ramkrishna and Anand Subramanian on April 22, 2022, alleging that Ramkrishna abused her official position in key decisions.
A supplementary chargesheet was then filed against Ramkrishna and six others in August 2022.
The present supplementary chargesheet was filed on September 17, 2025, against 44 accused, including Ramkrishna, which consisted of over 300 pages. PTI MNR MNR MPL MPL
