New Delhi, Apr 16 (PTI) There will be no change of guard ceremony on April 18, the Rashtrapati Bhavan said on Thursday.

The change of guard ceremony is a military tradition that is held every week to enable a fresh group of the President’s bodyguards to take charge.

“The change of guard ceremony will not take place this Saturday (April 18, 2026) at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan due to the rehearsal for the ceremonial reception in connection with the forthcoming state visit of the President of the Republic of Korea,” it said in a statement.
