New Delhi: The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog has begun accepting applications for the ‘ATL Tinkerpreneur 2024’. A significant initiative of AIM’s Atal Tinkering Labs programme, the boot camp is now open to students from all schools across India including non-ATL schools, a PIB press release stated.

This year’s edition of the boot camp is expected to be equally enriching as the previous three editions, which saw over 5000 team innovations. Students will be equipped with essential digital skills and frameworks that will help them conceptualise and develop their own online ventures. Apart from this, students from registered teams will get dedicated mentorship from mentors across the country under the ‘Mentor India Initiative’.
The Tinkerpreneur Comic Book series, organised by TinkerChamps, a student-led non-profit club comprising 23 accomplished ‘tinkerpreneurs’, has been added to the program to inspire and motivate the students. The program is free for students. Interested students can register for the ATL Tinkerpreneur 2024 via the provided link and submit the application form on or before the deadline of 18 June 2024.
Mission Director AIM Dr. Chintan Vaishnav expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “This is an exciting moment for all of us as. We have seen some brilliant innovations in the previous three editions. For students, ATL Tinkerpreneur is a great platform to traverse the journey from thought to implementation. I am especially delighted that we are partnering with TinkerChamps; what can be better than engaging services of our own Tinkerpreneur community”.
