Thane, Jul 18 (PTI) A man was arrested for repeatedly raping a woman and impregnating her after luring her with the promise of a good job in Dubai, a Navi Mumbai police official said on Friday.
As per the complaint filed on June 17, she faced this ordeal between January and March this year, the Vashi police station official said.
“The 55-year-old accused was arrested on July 15 under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for rape and other offences. He was held from Thane jail, where he is lodged in connection with another case. A probe has shown he is accused of such crimes at other police stations as well,” sub inspector Babasaheb Sangle said. PTI COR BNM
