New Delhi: The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) has come up with an extensive “Module for Training of Para-legal Volunteers” covering all aspects necessary for training to them, according to a press statement by the Ministry of Law and Justice.
This module has been developed to help the PLVs understand the Constitutional vision of justice, basic principles of criminal law, labor laws, and laws for the protection of women and senior citizens, it said.
The module also emphasizes the importance of communication and soft skills of behavior that are essential for dealing with diverse people. The training programme also includes a period of refresher training to enhance the skills of the PLVs.
