Indore, Sep 28 (PTI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Saturday said his government will take all possible steps to protect intellectual property rights in view of complex challenges in the future.

In the coming days, challenges will arise regarding determination of intellectual property rights of research, inventions, ideas and formulas of medicines and questions will come up about protection of such knowledge, he said.

“In the future, we will have to face different challenges to protect intellectual property rights. This subject is as complex as it is important. These new challenges will obviously increase the burden of cases on the judiciary,” Yadav said at the inaugural ceremony of a colloquium organised here on the subject of intellectual property rights.

“The state government will take all possible measures to deal with these challenges by working hand in hand with the judiciary on the basis of its suggestions,” he added.
