Palghar, Apr 22 (PTI) The administration in Maharashtra’s Palghar district on Wednesday conducted a mock drill at the Tarapur MIDC, simulating a “massive chlorine gas leak”, to test industrial safety protocols and public hazard management, officials said.

The drill showcased synchronisation among various departments, with the police establishing “green corridors” for emergency vehicles and traffic diversions, they said. Doctors oversaw the treatment of four simulated casualties, they said.
