Banda (UP), Oct 31 (PTI) A 35-year-old man allegedly killed his 65-year-old father with a sickle over a family dispute here, police said on Saturday.
The incident took place around 7 pm on Friday in Bandha Purwa under the Nagar Kotwali police station area.
Circle Officer Saurabh Singh said the accused, identified as Nathua Yadav, attacked his father Motilal with a sharp-edged weapon, inflicting serious injuries to his head and neck. Motilal died shortly after being taken to hospital, the officer said.
