Palghar, Mar 7 (PTI) In light of mishaps such as chemical leaks in industries in Maharashtra’s Palghar, the Directorate of Industrial Safety & Health (DISH) has come out with a “Green Book” containing information required to handle emergencies, an official said on Tuesday.
Speaking at the book’s release on Monday, collector Govind Bodke said the “Green Book” will go a long way in meeting the requirements of the disaster management system.
The book contains details of chemicals being used in the industries in Palghar and it will help the district disaster management cell and the fire services in handling disasters in the industrial units, said Vivekanand Kadam, chief of the District Disaster Management Cell. PTI COR ARU ARU
