Jaipur, Jun 24 (PTI) Light to moderate rainfall was recorded in parts of Rajasthan on Wednesday, and the Meteorological Department issued alerts for multiple districts till June 28.
Lunkaransar in Bikaner recorded 12.5 mm rain, a MeT department spokesperson said.
Jaipur recorded 1.2 mm of rain, 0.6 mm in Sriganganagar and 0.4 mm in Bikaner.
Phalodi recorded 42 degrees, followed by Jaisalmer at 40.7 degrees and Bikaner at 40.4 degrees Celsius.
The department issued an orange alert for thunderstorms and rain in Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu and Bikaner districts for Thursday, while a yellow alert was sounded for several other districts, including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Kota, Bharatpur and Alwar.
