Ranchi, Apr 17 (PTI) A 22-year-old school van driver has been arrested for alleged sexual harassment of a three-year-old girl in Jharkhand’s Ranchi, police said on Friday.

He was nabbed on Wednesday, after a case was lodged against him at Kotwali police station based on the statement of the victim’s parents.

The accused was sent to judicial custody on Thursday, said Sanoj Choudhary, the officer in-charge of Kotwali police station.

The incident came to light when the child informed her mother about the accused touching her inappropriately, Choudhary said.

Further investigation is underway, he added. PTI RPS RBT
