New Delhi: Among the several wishes for PM Modi on his birthday, one read: “It is my deepest wish that Modi ji should continue to serve India when independent India turns 100.”

It was sent by Asia’s richest person, Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani, who said: “On behalf of the entire business community of India, on behalf of the Reliance family and on behalf of the Ambani family, I convey my heartiest felicitations to Prime Minister Modi ji. It is not a coincidence that Modi ji’s Amrit Mahotsav is coming in Bharat’s Amrit Kal.”

Amrit Kaal refers to a timeline—the 25 years between 2022 and 2047 in which India is due to turn into a developed nation. The year 2047 will mark a hundred years since Independence.

Several other big business owners and industrialists wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday, including Mahindra Group’s Anand Mahindra, and RPSG group chairperson Sanjiv Goenka.

Anand Mahindra’s wishes mentioned the Prime Minister’s “tireless hard work”.

“Honorable Prime Minister Ji, there can be no doubt about your love for India and your firm resolve to enhance its identity worldwide. Your tireless hard work is visible to all of us Indians every day. Therefore, on your 75th birthday, we wish you everlasting good health and success in achieving your goals,” he said in a post on X, originally written in Hindi.

Meanwhile, Sanjiv Goenka wished Modi by referring to a supposed renewal of “prestige” and sense of purpose that the Prime Minister has bestowed on India.

“You have given the country and its citizens a new respect, a new prestige, a new direction, and a new honour. No amount of praise is enough for you. Your policies have been groundbreaking. Your vision is something we have never seen before in this country. All I can say is, long live Modi ji,” he said.

Adani group chairman Gautam Adani has not wished the Prime Minister on any public forum.

The Congress has shared an AI-generated video—in which a likeness of Adani is seen wishing the Prime Minister. “Narendra Modi has been a very loyal supporter of mine. It has never happened that Modi has opposed my orders. Whatever I asked for—factories, lands, tenders, deals—Modi got it done in my name. This is my Modi story,” said the AI-generated Adani, in what appeared to be a dig at the purported relationship between the Prime Minister and India’s second richest person.
