Indian shares hold losses after RBI keeps rates unchanged

BENGALURU (Reuters) -Indian shares stayed lower on Thursday after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) held its key rates steady for the third consecutive time in its monetary policy decision. The Nifty 50 index was down 0.22% at 19,589.75, while the S&P BSE Sensex fell 0.25% to 65,833.50 at 10:04 a.m. IST. Both the indexes had fallen 0.3% each ahead of the decision. Sectors sensitive to domestic interest rates were mixed, with financials falling 0.3%, while auto and realty index were little changed.
