India to issue end-to-end digital authorization for IT hardware imports

NEW DELHI (Reuters) – India will introduce end-to-end digital authorization systems for select IT hardware imports, officials from the country’s trade ministry said on Thursday.

The authorization will specify the quantity and value of imports, and will be valid until Sept. 30, 2024, officials said.
