‘Bharat Parv’ will be celebrated at the 77th edition of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, a PIB press release stated.
The country will showcase its rich creative economy in the world’s leading film market through a series of significant initiatives. This is the first time that India will host a ‘Bharat Parv’ at the Cannes Film Festival. ‘Bharat Parv’ will be held at the Bharat Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival.
The purpose of the ‘Bharat Parv’ is to provide an opportunity to the Indian film industry to connect with film celebrities, filmmakers, directors, producers, buyers, and sales agents from all over the world. This will help in promoting Indian films and creating new collaborations.
The ‘Bharat Parv’ will be organized by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). The event will be held at the Bharat Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival. The pavilion has been designed by the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.
