Puducherry, Mar 31 (PTI) BJP leader K Annamalai on Tuesday criticised the INDIA bloc in Puducherry, alleging that the Congress-led alliance was “reeling under chaos and confusion”.
Campaigning for NDA candidates for the upcoming Puducherry assembly polls, he claimed that a lack of cohesion was paralysing the INDIA bloc.
“There is no mutual understanding between the Congress and DMK and there is confusion in seat allocation between the two parties. If these parties cannot have mutual understanding even at the hustings and in fielding candidates, how can they provide a government to the people?” he asked and appealed to the voters to support the BJP nominee in Raj Bhavan seat, V P Ramalingam.
Highlighting the achievements of the AINRC-led NDA government, the former Tamil Nadu BJP chief said the territorial administration has transformed the union territory into a land of peace in the last five years.
“Chief Minister N Rangasamy has brought in several measures to improve the lives of people during the last five years,” he said.
The BJP leader also alleged that during the previous Congress rule (between 2016 and 2021), Puducherry witnessed “jungle raj”. PTI COR ROH
