Important matters heard by the Supreme Court on Friday, September 6: * SC dismissed a plea filed by former principal of Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital Sandip Ghosh challenging a Calcutta HC order rejecting his petition to be added as a party to a case of alleged financial irregularities at the institute on his watch.
