Shimla, Sep 26 (PTI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Saturday inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 21 development projects worth Rs 136.25 crore in Mandi district.
These projects fall in the Balh, Nachan, Mandi Sadar and Karsog assembly constituencies of the district.
The chief minister inaugurated several road projects, water supply schemes, a Rs 32 lakh Ayurvedic Health Centre in Behna, a Rs 23 lakh Veterinary Dispensary in Koth, a Rs 4.42 crore Government Primary School in Balh, Rs 38 lakh Panchayat Ghars each in Dahnu and Malthehar, Rs 25 lakh Mandav Gramin Haat at Pandoh, and Rs 12 lakh Patwarkhanas each in Balh and Karsog.
He also laid foundation stones of a Rs 50 lakh Ayurvedic Health Centre in Halyatar, Rs 1.41 crore staff quarters in Kangni, and Rs 1.15 crore Panchayat Samudayik Kendra in Balh.
Speaking on the occasion, Sukhu said these development projects will significantly strengthen the basic infrastructure and public services in these areas.
The road projects will improve connectivity to these areas and strengthen the district’s overall road network. The water supply schemes will provide better access to safe and reliable drinking water for residents of the villages concerned, he said. PTI COR RUK
