Gurugram, Oct 17 (PTI) Gurugram police arrested two men for allegedly stealing mobile phones from an e-commerce logistics hub and recovered two stolen devices from their possession, officials said on Saturday.

According to the police, a person filed a complaint at Bilaspur Police Station on Friday, alleging that two employees at Binola’s Instakart hub stole mobile phones between October 12 and 15. Following this, the police registered a case.

Acting on the complaint, police arrested two accused — Rahul Kumar Bairwa and Sachin Bairwa, both residents of Rajasthan — on Friday near the NH-48 Bilaspur Khurd turn, they said.

“During police interrogation and investigation, it was revealed that both accused were working as picking agents at Instakart Hub and had allegedly misused their positions to commit the theft. We are questioning the accused”, Gurugram police spokesperson said. PTI COR SHS

Nine Years, Made Possible by Readers

In 2017, Shekhar Gupta started ThePrint with a simple belief: Indian readers want journalism that asks why and what next, not just what. And that enough of them would be willing to pay for good journalism.

Nine years on, that belief has held.

And, in these nine years, we’ve stayed true to our mission. We’ve been asking the follow-up questions, going beyond the headlines and explaining what’s actually happening. We’ve travelled across the country to bring you in-depth, visually-compelling stories from the ground.

It’s been nine years of readers choosing to make this possible. If you’d like to be one of them:
