Patna, Apr 30 (PTI) Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Thursday said his government’s top priority was to ensure the benefits of development schemes reach the last rung of society and stressed the need for good governance and maintaining transparency.

Addressing a meeting with district magistrates and superintendents of police, the newly appointed chief minister directed officials to be fully committed to public service with sensitivity.

In a post on X later, he said, “The government’s top priority is to ensure that the benefits of development schemes reach the last person through good governance, transparency and accountability.” The meeting reviewed the progress of various government schemes, the law-and-order situation, and other key public service issues, Choudhary added.
