Jammu, Apr 30 (PTI) General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General P K Mishra, on Thursday reviewed the prevailing security environment and assessed the operational preparedness of troops deployed in the Jammu region, officials said.
The Army commander, accompanied by the GOC Crossed Swords division, visited the general area of Kachriyal in Jammu, where he was briefed on the security situation and readiness of forces on the ground, they said.

During the visit, the GOC interacted with troops and appreciated innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness.
