New Delhi, Aug 19 (PTI) Police have registered an FIR after a group of people allegedly posing as CBI officers attempted to enter a businessman’s residence in Rohini to carry out a search, an officer said on Wednesday.
According to the complaint, around eight to 10 people reached the residence on August 8 and claimed to be CBI officers. The businessman’s wife, however, refused to open the gate and sought proper authorisation for the search.

The incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the area, police said.
Neighbours also gathered at the spot and questioned the the members of the group about the search warrant and other authorisation. When asked to provide a written copy of the notice, the group allegedly left, saying they would get it from their vehicle.
The family subsequently made a PCR call, following which police reached the spot.
