Gorakhpur (UP), Oct 21 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday directed officials to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution of public grievances, stressing that every complainant should be treated with sensitivity.
During a ‘Janata Darshan’ programme at the Gorakhnath temple here, Adityanath met around 200 people, heard their complaints and instructed officials concerned to take necessary action, according to an official statement.
The chief minister said the government’s commitment was to resolve people’s problems and improve their lives.
He also directed officials to take strict legal action against those illegally occupying others’ land or displacing vulnerable people.
In cases involving family disputes over land and property, he said the parties concerned should be encouraged to resolve their differences through dialogue.
He stressed that revenue and police-related cases must be handled with complete transparency and impartiality, ensuring that no one faced injustice.
During the programme, several people approached him seeking financial assistance for medical treatment.
