New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results of the Class 10 examination Thursday afternoon, hours after declaring the Class 12 results.
The board revealed that 93.12 per cent students had passed the exam – down by 1.28 per cent from last year. Nineteen lakh students had appeared in 2023.
The results of the Class 10 exams — held between 15 February and 21 March – can be viewed on cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in.
Like Class 12, the CBSE will not announce an overall merit list for Class 10 results either, but will issue a merit certificate to students who have scored the highest marks in subjects.
In Class 12, 87.33 per cent passed among the 16.9 lakh students who had registered in 2023 – a dip from 92.71 per cent last year.
