New Delhi, Sep 30 (PTI) Delhi IT minister Pankaj Singh on Wednesday inaugurated a dedicated AI training centre at Vikas Bhawan in Civil Lines to provide practical training in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to government officers.
The initiative aims to help the officials understand and effectively use AI in their everyday work while maintaining required standards of confidentiality and cybersecurity, Singh said.
The first capacity-building programmes at the centre will commence from October 15.
The practical, application-oriented training will cover artificial intelligence, data analytics, official drafting, prompt engineering and creation of dynamic presentations using AI, besides essential aspects of cybersecurity and responsible AI practices.
A session on artificial intelligence and its applications in government offices was also organised during the inauguration. Officials were introduced to AI and various tools available for practical use, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and DeepSeek.
