Chandigarh, Apr 15 (PTI) A delegation of medical professionals from Strathmore University, Kenya, visited a private hospital in Panchkula on Wednesday.

The delegation, led by Dr Tecla Kivuli and supported by University Administration Coordinator Salome, explored the city’s healthcare ecosystem to study advanced clinical infrastructure and digital health innovations, a press release said.

During their visit, the delegates engaged in discussions on the scope of telemedicine, including the potential to establish India-“Kenya telemedicine linkages.

They also explored structured training programmes for Kenyan doctors and paramedics at Park Hospitals, strengthening future collaboration in medical education and capacity building.
