Meerut (UP), Apr 20 (PTI) Stand-up comedian and actor Sunil Pal on Monday deposed before a court here and identified two persons who were allegedly involved in his kidnapping in 2024.
Speaking to reporters in the court complex, Pal said he was abducted from Meerut on December 2, 2024, and was held hostage in Bijnor. He added that all the accused in the case have since been arrested and the judicial process is underway.
Expressing gratitude to the Uttar Pradesh Police and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Pal said he was hopeful of getting justice. “I want that what happened to me should not happen to anyone else,” he said.
The actor also said that he has been going through mental trauma following the incident and has lost around 10 kg of weight. He added that he now feels scared to step out and remains wary about his safety. PTI COR KIS SKY SKY
