Collector goes on night-time inspection on scooter in Jaipur

Jaipur, Aug 26 (PTI) Jaipur District Collector Sandesh Nayak stepped out for a late-night inspection of sanitation arrangements in the city’s walled area on a scooter.

Instead of using an official vehicle, Nayak began the inspectionlate Tuesday night from Ajmeri Gate on a scooter driven by Additional District Collector (East) Narendra Kumar Verma.

During the inspection, the collector visited different areas of the walled city and reviewed night-time sanitation arrangements, cleaning of drains and disposal of garbage generated by food outlets.

He also sought updates from officials regarding the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct in view of the local body elections.

Deputy Commissioner (Health) Om Thanvi and Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Naveen Bhardwaj were among the officials present during the inspection.
