Amaravati, Apr 19 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will visit the Patamata Anna Canteen in Vijayawada on Monday morning to have breakfast with his wife, Nara Bhuvaneswari, as part of his 76th birthday celebrations.
The visit coincides with his birthday on April 20, with the state government organising annadanam (free meals) across Anna Canteens.
“Naidu will have breakfast at the Anna Canteen located near the Rythu Bazaar on Patamata High School Road in Vijayawada along with his wife, Bhuvaneswari,” a press release said on Sunday.
On the occasion, Bhuvaneswari has donated Rs 76 lakh towards one day’s expenses of Anna Canteens, facilitating free food distribution at nearly 270 centres across the state.
Annadanam will be served three times on Monday at all Anna Canteens, marking the CM’s birthday, the release said.
MLAs, MPs, and ministers will participate in annadanam programmes in their respective constituencies, while party leaders and supporters are expected to mark the occasion across the state, it added. PTI MS SSK
