Jammu, Sep 23 (PTI) Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal A P Singh visited the strategically-vital Northern Command theatre to review the prevailing operational environment and preparedness, a defence spokesperson said on Wednesday.
During the visit, the CAS was briefed by General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma at the command’s Udhampur-based headquarters on key operational dynamics and the ongoing inter-services synergy initiatives for the effective execution of multi-domain operations, the spokesperson said.
Expressing full confidence in the operational capabilities of the forces, the CAS highlighted that the exemplary synergy and jointness displayed between the Western Air Command and the Northern Command at each echelon, ranging from strategic to tactical levels, serves as a beacon for future operations.
