Raipur, Jun 14 (PTI) Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday dedicated and laid the foundation stone for 341 development projects worth over Rs 295 crore in Janjgir-Champa district to boost infrastructure and improve public services in the region, an official said.
At a programme held in Podi (Racha) village of Nawagarh block, Sai dedicated 159 projects worth over Rs 70 crore and performed the “bhoomipoojan” ceremony for 182 new projects valued at nearly Rs 225 crore, he said.
The projects span sectors, including roads, drinking water supply, irrigation, healthcare, urban infrastructure and rural development, he added.
According to the CM, the initiatives will expand basic amenities, improve public convenience and accelerate the district’s overall development.
Sai said the package marks a significant milestone for Janjgir-Champa and reflects the state government’s commitment to balanced and inclusive development across Chhattisgarh.
Among those present at the event were Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, state Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, MP Kamlesh Jangde, and Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation Chairman Saurabh Singh. PTI COR NR
