Canadian envoy visits Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in Delhi, observes Covid-related facilities

New Delhi, Oct 27 (PTI) Canadian High Commissioner to India Cameron Mackay on Thursday visited the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib here and observed the facilities, members of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) said.

Mackay and other officials of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi visited the langar (community kitchen) hall and also enquired about the gurudwara’s Covid-related facilities, they said.

“Canadian High Commissioner to India Cameron Mackay and other officials paid a courtesy visit to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib today (Thursday). Mackay was impressed with the facilities, especially at the langar hall. He enquired about other facilities too, including the Covid-related assistance that we provide here,” a DSGMC member said.

The visiting officials were accompanied by DSGMC President Harmeet Singh Kalka and General Secretary Jagdip Singh Kahlon. PTI ABU SZM
